I took a good look at the horn on my Savage. According to the label on the horn, it requires 12 volts and pulls only 2 Amps of current, and is rated at 110 decibels. I then went to a auto parts store and noticed they had some Fiamms that look similar to the stock Savage horn, but are a bit wider, heavier, and plain black. They have a 'universal' connector and look like they would bolt right on in place of the stock horn. They are rated at 132 decibels - a hell of a lot louder. The only catch is that they pull *10 AMPS* - a heck of a lot more current.
I don't have a wiring diagram, but I am leery of putting on a horn that pulls that much more current. Some folks have suggested to wire in a relay but I don't know how to do this.
